Dr. Allan N. Boruszak is an obstetrician and gynecologist who owned a private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada for 21 years. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and attended medical school at the University of Illinois. Boruszak was a clinical instructor and chief resident at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana from 1982 to 1983. While in Las Vegas, Boruszak was also an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. From 1993 to 1995 he was president of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas.
Jeffrey David Sobel (October 23, 1943 - June 9, 2006) was an elected judge in the Clark County District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Las Vegas in 1969, where he started his career as a deputy public defender, then became chief deputy in the Clark County Public Defender's Office. Sobel practiced law privately from 1973 to 1990, focusing on criminal defense and business and domestic litigation.
Kathryn Sue List was born Kathryn Sue Geary on April 7, 1940. She married Robert List on July 1, 1962. The couple had three chidren during their marriage: Suzanne, Hank, and Michelle. While her husband was governor of Nevada (1978-1983), Kathryn was First Lady of Nevada. She later divorced Robert List. She currently lives in Reno, Nevada and works as a realtor.

A scrapbook for "Universal Warning Sign: Yucca Mountain," an international competition to create a warning sign for the proposed nuclear waste facility at Yucca Mountain, Nevada. Included in the scrapbook are exhibition photographs, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, and a letter. This set is part of the Senator Chic Hecht Papers and includes floor statements delivered by Senator Hecht during the 99th Congress, 1985-1986. The topics of the statements include natural resources issues such as water rights and the establishment of Great Basin National Park, as well as international issues of peace in the Middle East and United States' relationship with the Soviet Union.
