Oral history interview with Nina Lu conducted by Jennifer Sui on November 17, 2021 for the Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Lu recalls her difficult immgration journey from China to Los Angeles, California, and later to Las Vegas, Nevada. Oral history interview with Marlin Robison conducted by Claytee D. White on July 02, 2019 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Robison discusses his upbringing in Cedar City, Utah and in Overton, Nevada. He remembers growing up in poverty, the abusive relationship with his stepfather, and the various jobs he held throughout his youth. Robison talks about moving to Henderson, Nevada in 1950 and working as a counselor with the Juvenile Justice System. Lastly, Marlin discusses the growth of Henderson and the redevelopment of the Water Street District.

Oral history interview with Joe Ariki conducted by Tony Gebbia on March 23, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Ariki reflects upon his 30-year career as an elementary school teacher and administrator in Denver, Colorado from the 1950s to the 1980s. He describes the process by which he became a teacher and eventually an administrator, and describes his regular job duties and challenges that he faced. He also discusses the introduction of computers into the classroom, and technology’s impact on education. He also offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration, and describes what he believes are the qualities of a successful school leader.

Oral history interview with Leah Chan Grinvald conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on January 22, 2024 for the Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Grinvald discusses growing up with a large Chinese family on her father's side, and an Orthodox Jewish family on her mother's side. Grinvald talks about family, identity, traditions, and schooling. She discusses how she became interested in law, her legal career, and volunteer work with the affinity Bars in Nevada, the State Bar of Nevada Board of Bar Governors, and the Association of American Law Schools Deans Council Executive Committee. She also talks about meeting her Israeli husband, marrying him in Israel, and living there for a year.

Oral history interview with Tom Godbey conducted by James Greene on September 28, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Godbey discusses how he and his wife were the first couple to build a home in Boulder City, Nevada. He also talks about working for the City Marshall and Water Commission of Silverton, Nevada, and the Mining Nevada Assembly.

Oral history interview with Liermann L. Ousley conducted by Brian Emil on April 29, 1986 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ousley discusses his career as a lineman, a type of electrician, in California and Nevada. Ousley also discusses how Las Vegas, Nevada has changed since moving there in 1933 and observing the first nuclear weapons test.
