Oral history interview with Jack E. Howard conducted by Michael K. Ericksen on February 27, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jazz musician Gus Mancuso (Ronald Bernard Mancuso) discusses his career playing trombone and double bass in various musical groups and serving in the Army band as a piano player. He also talks about moving to Las Vegas in 1955, playing in bands at various casinos, touring Europe with Sarah Vaughan and teaching in the music department at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

Oral history interview with Vincent Kethen conducted by Claytee White on December 23, 2009 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. Kethen was born in 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the year that desegregation of schools started there. He discusses his experiences as an African-American child being bused to a white school, John S. Park Elementary. He also discusses growing up in that era and giving back to the community by being a youth basketball coach.

Oral history interview with Adele Baratz conducted by Claytee White on March 19, 2007 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Baratz discusses the early Jewish community in Las Vegas, Nevada, including how education, shopping and restaurants such as Al's Bar were like. She also discusses how medical care, Helldorado, and early hotels advanced.

Oral history interview with K. Oscar Knudson conducted by Dorothy O'Hara on an unknown date in 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Knudson discusses his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada and recalls positive economic changes that Southern Nevada had as a result of tourism.

The two discuss her occupational history as well as how she met her husband. Innis discusses the changes inside casinos and gambling. Oral history interview with John E. Jeffrey conducted by Frank Vivirito on April 01, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jeffrey discusses his occupational history, the disparity of work conditions and opportunities for Black and Mexican workers in the Henderson, Nevada magnesium plant, and his family’s medical history.
