Oral history interview with Virgil Brownlee conducted by Patricia van Betten on May 02, 2012 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Hinds recalls her journey to the United States after marrying a U.S. naval officer stationed in the Philippines. Oral history interview with Eva D. Peterson conducted by Dorothy Ritenour on June 25, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Peterson discusses moving to Nevada in August of 1927 and recalls her experiences as an educator in Searchlight, Nevada. She goes on to explain her classroom teaching methods.

She goes on to discuss her numerous travels with her husband, and their eventual settlement in Virgina City, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Georgia Adras (b. 1916) conducted by Robin L. Hayes on March 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Adras relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada from Farmington, Utah in 1936. This interview covers education, religion, ad raising a family in Nevada. During the interview Adras also discusses the building of the Boulder Dam, road conditions, grocery shopping in the early days, and the Strip.
