Oral history interview with Kathleen Kinley conducted by Jamie Quashnock on December 13, 2007 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Kinley reflects upon her 34-year career in education, with 14 years as a teacher and 20 years as an administrator in the Clark County School District. She discusses her job duties as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent, and how the positions compare with each other. Oral history interview with JoAnne K. Schlekewy conducted by Wanda Renfrow on November 26, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Schlekewy reflects upon her nearly 30-year career as an administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District from the 1970s to the 2000s. She describes the process by which she became a counselor and eventually principal, describes her regular responsibilities, and discusses the importance of establishing working relationships with teachers.

Gemma discusses employment opportunities, construction work, housing developments, and hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Gemma also recalls social and environmental changes, local recreation, sports, and the importance of gambling in Nevada.

She discusses the development of the Overton and Gold Butte areas of Nevada as well as the people involved in mining in these areas.

Oral history interview with Herb Tobman conducted by Deborah Fischer on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Herb Tobman talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada while working for Standard Oil as a tire, battery and accessory salesman, then working for the Moulin Rouge as the general manager in 1955. He gives a description of the hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard and downtown. Tobman then discusses the types of gambling that were popular. He also talks about the accommodations, transportation, entertainment, and the economy.

Oral history interview with Austin R. Wardle conducted by Elizabeth Nelson Patrick on August 05, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wardle discusses the history of Tonopah, Nevada, a town in which he first arrived in 1902. Wardle discusses theaters in Tonopah, Jewish families that lived in Tonopah, and the prominent immigrant population that worked in the mines. He continues talking about other families that have lived in Tonopah and life in the town. Wardle also discusses how Tonopah has changed, housing in Tonopah, and the mining industry of the town.
