Oral history interview with Dr. Andre Denson conducted by Zaid Haddad on April 27, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with J.K. Houssels Sr. conducted by an unknown collector on November 12, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Houssels discusses his ownership of the Las Vegas Club casino on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1930s. Houssels also discusses other casino partnerships that he invested in, and the casino business.

Oral history interview with Mark Matthews conducted by Marcus Harrison on March 30, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Matthews discusses his arrival to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1949 in an attempt to find better living conditions. Matthews then describes living through the Great Depression, and explains the hardships it brought upon many people. Matthews later discusses improvements in transportation throughout the city as more streets were paved.

Oral history interview with Carole Rae conducted by Claytee D. White on March 6, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview, Rae mainly discusses her accomplishment of founding the dance department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She begins the interview by discussing her earlier years, and mentions that one of her main hobbies was sewing and not dancing. She also states that she was not an art major during her undergraduate years and was surprised when dance eventually became her career. Rae explains how she became a dance instructor and describes her specializations in different forms of dance, such as Spanish dance and ballet.

Oral history interview with Harold McKay conducted by Dana Jamerson on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, McKay talks about the history of education in Southern Nevada. He specifically talks about the quality of education and racial integration in schools in early Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Dwight Chambers conducted by Janet Ann Jack on February 26, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Chambers discusses working in numerous Las Vegas, Nevada’s hotel-casinos including Caesar’s Palace, hotel administrations’ connections with the mafia, and plans for expanding the Landmark Hotel.
