Oral history interview with Carol Harter conducted by Suzanne Becker on April 20, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Harter discusses being president of the State University of New York Geneseo in New York, and accepting the presidency of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1995. She then discusses the construction of the new library, the law school, and dental school during her presidency, as well as facilitating more than 550 million dollars in gifts and pledges to the university.

Oral history interview with Mark Matthews conducted by Marcus Harrison on March 30, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Matthews discusses his arrival to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1949 in an attempt to find better living conditions. Matthews then describes living through the Great Depression, and explains the hardships it brought upon many people. Matthews later discusses improvements in transportation throughout the city as more streets were paved.

He recalls gambling with Sarno and tells anecdotes of their friendship. Lastly, Trujillo discusses the death of Sarno in 1984.
