Description
Sales material from the late 1960s for model no. 15 C residential home called "The Conquistador," in the El Encanto development, Las Vegas, Nevada. One side has an illustration of the front exterior elevation, a floor plan, and a list of features. The other side shows two alternate exterior elevation illustrations (15C-1-L and 15C-2-R). The price is handwritten. The development is located between Harmon and Tropicana Avenues (north and south) and Sandhill Rd. (west) and S. Lamb Blvd. (east).

Typed on a piece of paper included with the image:"Pictured above is a diagram showing the construction and the special features of the Lockheed 14 monoplane in which Howard Hughes and his picked crew of four made their record flight from New York City to Paris, France, on their dash around the world. A side-angle view of The California Hotel. Transcribed from the notes attached to the picture, "Building burned. It was on the corner across from present 76 Station on the same side of the street. Calif. was the first place Mrs. Chloe Lisle lived in Beatty. Her mother ran it. Job Cobb was the owner. In the background are buildings belonging to Charlie Finney who mined in the Grapevine Mts. The building on the right is lived in presently by Mark Henderson of the Exxon station. Judy's Bar replaced the building on the far right."
