The Nevada Historical Society Photograph Collection contains photographs of Nevada from 1873 to 1951. The photographs primarily depict the towns of Pioche, Candelaria, and Tonopah in the early-twentieth century. The photographs also depict Nevada Governor Emmett D. Boyle and U.S. Senators William M. Stewart and Key Pittman. The collection contains two images related to the Women's Suffrage movement, including Governor Boyle signing a resolution in favor of the Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and Anne Martin's campaign for the U.S. Senate in 1918. Lastly, the photographs also depict mining operations in Bullionville and Candelaria.

The Gary Marsh Scrapbook on Nevada History consists of one scrapbook with newspaper clippings from the Las Vegas Review-Journal (LVRJ) and the LVRJ Sunday supplement, the Nevadan dating from 1963 to 1964. Topics include information on Nevada history, industry, natural resources, society, and culture. The scrapbook likely represents a school project completed by Marsh.
Essays on the Nevada MX Missile Project collection is dated to 1980 and is comprised of essays by various authors predicting the damage the MX Missile Project, a plan for a new intercontinental ballistic missile system, could do to Nevada. The majority of the essays were published in the book MX in Nevada: A humanistic perspective. The additional essay is an annotated draft by James W. Hulse.

The Jackie Brett Collection on Las Vegas, Nevada Entertainment (1977-1996) consists of writings by Jackie Brett and publications and clippings about Las Vegas, Nevada entertainment and tourism. Brett worked for the Nevada Commission on Tourism and promoted southern Nevada through her column "Brett's Vegas View." She wrote about production shows, concerts, special performances, and events as well as the overall development of Las Vegas tourist industry in the 1980s and 1990s.
