Typed onto a piece of paper attached to the image: "Howard Hughes big silver monoplane landing at Floyd Bennett Field his afternoon completing a record flight around the world in 3 days, 13 hours, and 17 minutes. 7/14/38 (Press Association)."

Incorporating iconic New York symbolism with commercial architecture, the New York New York hotel and casino along the Las Vegas Strip presents an "only in Vegas" tourist attraction, complete with a Statue of Liberty replica and a roller coaster. This image shows how the property propagates its theme throughout the property, including this entranceway to an area between itself and its sister property Monte Carlo, dubbed "The Park."
