Oral history interview with Patricia Bearce conducted by Guy Pence on September 29, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Miller discusses her family and personal history. Miller begins by discussing her parents' immigration to the United States from Czechoslovakia and Peru respectively. She goes on to discuss her numerous travels with her husband, and their eventual settlement in Virgina City, Nevada.

Rhea discusses her birth in Fairmont, West Virginia, as well as her nursing education. She describes serving in France during World War II as a nurse. She details moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1949, and then to the Blue Diamond, Nevada in approximately 1952. She describes the post office, shopping locations, and her neighbors in the Village.
