Oral history interview with Charles F. Sells conducted by Noble B. Young on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Sells describes his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sells discusses how Las Vegas has changed, the jobs he has held, and the death of his wife. Sells also discusses his enjoyment of going out with his wife to gamble at the casinos when he was younger, meeting Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, playing in a local softball team, and his business, an industrial laundry cleaning plant.

Oral history interview with Helen D. Newman conducted by Keri Morgan on March 11, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Newman discusses her early life and why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She discusses changes in the city from housing developments to growth in education due to the construction of additional schools and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She also discusses the construction of new hotels and resorts. Newman later describes the growth of the Girl Scouts in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Charles Perri conducted by Edwin Smith on February 10, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Perri discusses moving to Nevada in 1948 from New York. Perri discusses his career selling shoes, working as a survey crew member on a race track, and later working for the Las Vegas Fire Department. Perri later discusses the earlier casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Estes McDoniel conducted by Gregory S. Hayes on March 11, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. McDoniel discusses his personal history in Henderson, Nevada, including his campaign for Mayor. McDoniel then discusses the first high school in Henderson, Nevada, and the Basic Magnesium Plant.

Oral history interview with Lester Lee conducted by A. D. Hopkins on September 04, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lee discusses his life working a variety of occupations including farmer, rancher, and hoist engineer for mines in Caselton, Nevada. Lee also discusses mining, the Mormon Church, education, employment, and land ownership in Southern Nevada. Patricia S. Hopkins accompanies Lee in the interview and makes some comments on Lee's statements.

Oral history interview with Chester Davis conducted by Keith Sargent on June 24, 1987 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In his interview Davis discusses his time working as a librarian in the James Dickinson Library at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Davis focuses his interview on a remodel of the library both at the physical and technological level.
