Oral history interview with Helen Manix conducted by James M. Greene on December 06, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Manix talks about the history of Boulder City, Nevada. She specifically talks about living conditions and her role as a mother in early Boulder City. Oral history interview with Alfred Isola conducted by Stephen Kalish on March 15, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Isola discusses Las Vegas, Nevada’s lack of a unified garbage system and how dumping sites have had to adjust their practices in order to limit their impact on pollution. Isola also explains the different disposal protocols for wet and dry trash.

Oral history interview with Barbara Conover conducted by Patricia van Betten on November 25, 2006 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Conover discusses moving to Blue Diamond, Nevada after her husband found a job at the mine's processing plant. Conover talks about her career in education and hiking at Red Rock Canyon. Conover also describes life at Spring Mountain Ranch and Bonnie Springs Ranch including the buildings, residents, and local activities.

Oral history interview with doctor Nancy Leveque conducted by Robin Wright on July 03, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The interview covers, among many wide-ranging topics, Leveque’s move to and away from Las Vegas, her career as a veterinarian, and the practice she and her then-husband built. Leveque also discusses how the city of Las Vegas has changed—environmentally and socially—, special interest groups and social activities, as well as natural phenomena. Throughout the course of the interview, Leveque provides anecdotes about prominent figures and old Las Vegas traditions, such as Helldorado.

McLean discusses making a living playing for the Ice Capades—traveling entertainment shows featuring theatrical ice skating performances—and in jazz bands after graduating from college. He also discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960 and playing at hotels such as the Frontier, Desert Inn, Riviera, Sahara, and the Tropicana.
