The Wayne Cronister Photograph Collection depicts towns in Southern Nevada from 1905 to 1950. The photographs primarily depict Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada and the construction of the Hoover (Boulder) Dam on the Colorado River. The photographs also include the Union Pacific Railroad Depot in Las Vegas, Nevada, the abandoned town of Rhyolite, Nevada, and a mining camp in El Dorado Canyon.
Archival Collection
The Pat Jones Photograph Collection (approximately 1925-1930) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and slides of Harry Suiter in Rhyolite, Nevada. There are images of Suiter standing in front of abandoned buildings, as well as scenery near Rhyolite. Also included is an image of a wagon transport containing borax in Death Valley, California.

The Smith & Chandler Photograph Collection (approximately 1934-1978) consists of black-and-white and color photographic prints. The images primarily depict the interior and exterior of the Smith & Chandler Indian Traders stores in both West Yellowstone, Montana and Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included are images of the store’s floats included in the Helldorado parade in Las Vegas.

The C. C. (Clio Cline) Mobley Photograph Collection (approximately 1911 to 1917) consists of sixteen black-and-white photographic prints with corresponding photographic negatives. The images depict the Las Vegas, Nevada Ranch while the Mobley family leased it from the Union Pacific Railroad during the period. The photographs depict the home, swimming pool, the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort, and orchards and streams on the property.

The Paul J. Richert Photograph Collection (approximately 1950-1951) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives depicting the swimming pools at the Desert Inn and Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also included is an image of the Las Vegas High School Rhythmettes dance group and an image of the El Rancho Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Nino Maurizi Photograph Collection consists of two black-and-white photographic prints and corresponding negatives of Nino Maurizi at the Mount Charleston Camp for the Las Vegas Army Air Field in 1943. Images depict Maurizi standing at the entrance of Mount Charleston Camp as well as inside the camp.

The Stanley Mitchell Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-1980) consists of black-and-white photographic prints. The images portray street scenes and residents from mining communities in Southern Nevada, including Beatty, Alamo, Goldfield, Nye County, Pioche, Carrara, Esmeralda County, and Belmont, Nevada. Other images include officials signing a water bond in Esmeralda County members of the Central Nevada Cattlemen’s Association, and the Little Oasis Market in Alamo.
Archival Collection
The William Hillman Shockley Photograph Collection (1875-1925, 1951) contains black-and-white photographs documenting mining operations at the Mount Diablo Mine and Millworks in Candelaria, Nevada. It also includes photographs of nearby operations including the Northern Belle Mine and the Princess Mill. The collection contains photographs of Shockley, his son, William Bradford Shockley, as an infant, as well as images of Shockley’s brothers, Walter A. Shockley and George Shockley.
Archival Collection
The collection is primarily comprised of photographs shot by photo enthusiast and Congregation Ner Tamid member, Gil Shaw. Photographs primarily depict events such as annual meetings, social events, and High Holy Day services held at and by Congregation Ner Tamid from 2004 to 2014. Also included are photographs depicting the 1983 construction of Congregation Ner Tamid's new campus in Henderson, Nevada.

The Sunnie Gillette Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-1930) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives depicting early Las Vegas, Nevada. Scenes include Fremont Street, the Clark County Courthouse, the First Methodist Church on 3rd and Bridger Streets, and rail yards in Las Vegas. Also included are images of street scenes, fundraisers, parades, and individuals in Las Vegas.
