Oral history interview with Laura Gunning conducted by Mike Martinez on March 5, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Gunning discusses her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gunning first talks about her family background, her church membership, education, and the minimum wage. Oral history interview with Kevin Brady conducted by David Schwartz on September 07, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Brady discusses his experience in negotiating with vendors for new slot games on the floor, what makes a good slot manager, and the changes in technology since he first started in the slot industry. He also describes his personal gambling and his own advice to young people who might want to go into slot operations.

The collection is comprised of captured websites and Twitter data related to the mass shooting that occured at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1, 2017. Captured websites are primarily comprised of articles and news stories from local, national, and international news media outlets. Websites were captured periodically from 2017 to 2018. The collection also includes Twitter data associated with the October 1 shooting that were captured via concurrent queries to the Twitter API for all Tweets containing the term “vegas” occuring September 29, 2017 to October 7, 2017. Also included are files containing tutorials for how to curate and analyze Twitter data which reference the 1 October Twitter dataset for illustrative purposes.

Oral history interview with Ann Lynch conducted by Sandra Klimik on October 17, 1985 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Lynch briefly explains how she started working in hospitals as a volunteer in 1959 and then gives an overview of the development of hospitals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Most of the interview is directed at the development and history of Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas. Lynch discusses the developers, Irwin Molasky, Moe Dalitz, Allard Roen and Merv Adelson, and their the original goal to build a physician medical building to attract doctors to their planned community, which included the Las Vegas Country Club and gold course, the Boulevard Mall, and the Boulevard Apartments. She describes the opening of the hospital in 1958, and then moves into a more detailed discussion of nurses and how their roles have shifted since the 1960s. Finally, she talks about the city's growth and the economic burden insurance companies and federal programs like Medicare and Medicaid have on hospital profitability.

Oral history interview with Hank Gordon conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on October 26, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Gordon discusses the first shopping center that he built in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1988. He also talks about the issues with building commercial and retail in Las Vegas. He then talks about his term on the Las Vegas City Planning Commission.

Oral history interview with Charis Robbins conducted by Steven J. Syzdek on March 17, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Robbins describes her early life living in various towns in California during the early 1900s, namely Silver Peak, California, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1943.
