In the interview, Lindell discusses arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada from California in 1951 for new employment opportunities. He discusses working as a building contractor, developer, and as a teacher.

Oral history interview with Eular Lunsford conducted by Mark J. Lestelle on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Lunsford describes his work experiences and life in Henderson, Nevada after moving there on September 09, 1951. Lunsford held various jobs, including serving as a magnesium plant firefighter, baker, and taxi cab driver.

Oral history interview with Jean Peck conducted by Thomas Zernzack on February 12, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Peck shares her knowledge about Las Vegas, Nevada, and talks about her experiences living there. Peck later talks about the social changes that Las Vegas went through when gambling was legalized.

Oral history interview with Darrel Waldthausen conducted by Gretchen Schroeder on May 10, 2008 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Waldthausen discusses his personal history and arriving to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1946. He describes living in the Blue Diamond village and attending the Blue Diamond school. Waldthausen then talks about the operations that were done at the mines and recalls the separate village near the mines. Lastly, he discusses moving to Guatemala in 1972 after buying real estate and building a home.

Oral history interview with Elinor Horden conducted by Valerie Fujii on February 13, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Horden discusses local entertainment in the 1950s, as well as the social and environmental changes that have occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada.
