Oral history interview with Betty Blevins conducted by Emily Powers on March 18, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Carolyn Whaley conducted in 2005 by an unknown interviewer for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. Whaley discusses her early interest in music and her successful audition for the United States Air Force Women's Air Force (WAF) Band in 1959. She explains that the band was the only all-female band in the military between 1951 and 1961, and shared a number of stories about the function and activities of the band. Later, she discusses her civilian career as a music teacher in Barstow, California and decision to move to Las Vegas, Nevada after her retirement in 2000. She also remarks on the lack of interest that officials at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas showed in veterans.

Oral history interview with Donald C. Moyer conducted by Claytee D. White on April 17, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Donald Moyer describes coming to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1965 to serve as the president for the university. He discusses getting regents, community members, and the faculty and student body to recognize the needs of the University. He also discusses trying to establish UNLV as a separate entity from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Oral history interview with Richard Hooker conducted by Claytee D. White on June 10, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Hooker discusses his work as an artist and cultural practitioner for the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. He recalls his background in political science and his employment with the Nevada Arts Council. Hooker then describes the projects he was involved with, including preserving neon signs and the formation of the Neon Museum.
