Oral history interview with Lindsay Wenger conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 13, 2018 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Lindsay Wenger discusses her move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2013 for her residency at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC). She talks about her experience on the night of the October 1, 2017 mass shooting and recalls a few specific patients she treated throughout the night and into the morning. After discussing the events at the hospital, she explains how she has been emotionally affected and how her view of Las Vegas as a community has changed.

Oral history interview with Linda Spinks Alverson conducted by Nancy Hardy on August 15, 2003 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Alverson discusses her early life in Isleworth, England and early interests in dancing. She talks about becoming a part of the Bluebell girls in Paris, France at the Lido and showgirl performing across the world. Alverson remembers moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in in 1972, performing at the Stardust Hotel in the Lido de Paris, Hallelujah Hollywood!, Jubilee!, and Casino de Paris shows. Lastly, Alverson talks about the end of her career in dancing, transitioning into other fields of work, and becoming a cocktail server.

Oral history interview with Mary Wesley conducted by Claytee D. White on October 22, 2007 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Wesley discusses her early life in Quitman, Mississippi. She recalls the racism she experienced during her youth, the church community in Quitman, and traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada by train. She talks about the welfare rights movement in Las Vegas, Operation Life, and businesses on Jackson Street. Lastly, Wesley describes the entertainment on the Westside, and integration on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Betsy Rhodes conducted by Melinda McGeorge Thompson on February 24, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project.

Betsy Rhodes shares a brief personal history before discussing her move to Las Vegas with her husband Leonard in 1958. She talks about her husband's dental profession, her children, and life in the early 1960s in Las Vegas. Rhodes shares details of her volunteering work with the Junior League and Assistance League of Las Vegas, detailing the groups' evolving missions, member counts, and trials faced to raise funds.

Oral history interview with Donna and Gail Andress conducted by Karen Schank on April 13, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project.

Donna and Gail Andress talk about their early lives and how they each came to live in North Las Vegas (Donna moved with her family from Los Angeles and Gail with his family from Arizona). They discuss city life in the 1930s, places they spent their time as children, their education, and how they met in high school. Donna and Gail recall their marriage and early years as a married couple living apart while Gail served in the Navy as a turret gunner. The couple discuss businesses that operated in the area and shared stories of raising their children in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Richard Earl Alger conducted by Karen Schank on March 15, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project.

Richard Alger shares his family history and what brought the Algers to Nevada; Alger's father was a carpenter for various mines in Midvale, Utah before working at the Hoover Dam, Black Mountain Industrial (BMI) Complex, and Nellis Air Force Base. Richard shares stories of his childhood growing up in North Las Vegas. He talks about how he and his family spent their time, what life in the city was like, and the various neighborhood hangout spots that he and other children would frequent including Kiel Ranch, the Las Vegas Mormon Fort, and Cashman Center.

Oral history interview with Timothy Dickhudt conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 13, 2018 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Timothy Dickhudt discusses his move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017 for a fellowship at the University Medical Center in Southern Nevada (UMC). He describes the night of the October 1, 2017 mass shooting, how he was called into work almost immediately after he arrived home from his shift, and his gradual understanding that a mass shooting had occurred on the Las Vegas Strip. Dickhudt also talks about operating on a family acquaintance from his home state of Minnesota who had attended the concert.
