Dear Mr. & Mrs. Giles, Just a note to tell you we are having a nice rest among the trees and roses. I do wish, though, that Ihad an airplane. I would sail to Goldfield the first thing. If you have time, write me a few lines, telling me the 'news.' Love, Lois."

Back of the postcard. It was sent to Mrs. J. H. McHenry to Tonopah (Nev.) from someone named Harry. He sends the post card saying that he arrived to okay and that he will go mining that next morning. Received in Tonopah, Nevada on October 18, 1937.

The buckskin hunt of October 4, 1936, a the head of Kingston Canyon on the Nevada National Forest. Eight hunters went out at 4:30 a.m. and came back that evening with eight buckskin.
