Oral history interview with Norman Forsyth conducted by Steve Flinte on March 19, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Forsythe discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada and his time as a firefighter with the Las Vegas Fire Department and the Clark County Fire Department, where he eventually became a battalion chief. Forsythe also talks about the history and development of Las Vegas, the prices of land, some notable fires, including the El Rancho Vegas fire, and what he recalls about the aboveground atomic testing.
Oral history interview with Ruby and Bud conducted by Chuck Williams on November 23, 2012 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Ruby Rankin begins the interview talking about her parents when they were caretakers of Oliver Ranch near Blue Diamond, Nevada. She briefly talks about Blue Diamond school. Then, Bud Rankin joins the interview and speaks about other caretakers, exploring the property, and the Carole Lombard plane crash site. Lastly, he briefly talks about the Oliver family.
Oral history interview with Steven D. McCoy conducted by Hope Vigil-Delgado on November 26, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, McCoy reflects upon his 33-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District. He describes the process by which he became a teacher, and discusses how his teaching experience shaped his approach to school administration. He discusses his experience at Roy Martin Middle School, and describes the student cultural diversity and bilingual education programs within the school. He also discusses various programs that he implemented at various schools, and describes his approach to teacher evaluations and dismissals.
Charles Alvin Lisanby was an American production designer who was known for his work in developing early color television. Lisanby was born on January 22, 1924 in Princeton, Kentucky to parents Charles Alvin Lisanby, Sr. and Rebecca Hollingsworth Lisanby. He graduated high school and became a member of the United States Army. Afterwards, he moved to New York and began art school.
The reel-to-reel recordings series (approximately 1940-1979) contain the 11-inch and 7-inch master track audiotapes of Fotine's performances. There are a small number of audiocassettes and 35mm film reels as well.

The Leprechaun Mining and Chemical, Inc. Records from 1954 to 1998 contain business information, Foot Chemical Company partnership documentation, meetings, audit and investment reports, financial papers, and stock certificates and transfers. Also included is data on the minerals mined in Nevada, such as salt, potash, and lithium.
Piece of machinery used in the renovation project at the Stardust Hotel. Poles and wires are held together by chains and ropes, and the ground around and underneath the machine shows exposed rocks and dirt. In this interview Eugene Buford talks about his great grandmother, Mary Nettles, who was instrumental in the start and growth of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Peoples (NAACP) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He speaks about his experiences with prejudice and discrimination, while reflecting upon what it was like being an African American growing up in Las Vegas.
