Oral history interview with Gretchen Braner conducted by Stacey Skidmore on November 24, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Braner reflects back on her career as a teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Braner discusses the process by which she trained to become a school administrator, which portions of the training were most beneficial, and the importance of life experiences in shaping her philosophy of education. She describes her regular job responsibilities, and explains the importance of balancing work priorities to avoid burnout. She also discusses the importance of fostering relationships with students and staff to make school administration meaningful.

Oral history interview with Elsie Harris-Gibson conducted by Wanda Renfrow on March 25, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Harris-Gibson reflects upon her 32-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1970s to the 2000s. She discusses her priority in being a fair leader, and the importance of fairness in school administrators. She describes her regular responsibilities and challenges as principal, as well as her working relationships with teachers and assistant principals. She also describes her experience with classroom-size reduction, standardized testing programs, and Reading Improvement Teacher programs.

Oral history interview with Pamela Sitton conducted by Claytee D. White on February 27, 2009 for the UNLV@ Fifty Oral History Project. Sitton discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1963 where her father worked at the Nevada Test Site and graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Sitton also discusses working at UNLV Libraries from 1974 until she retired March of 2009.

Oral history interview with Joy Snyder conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on December 17, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Snyder comments on many aspects of her career, including the informal approach to health care, the effects of desert climate on mothers and newborns, and the changes she has seen at Sunrise Hospital. She also comments on adoption practices in Las Vegas, Nevada; drug-addicted babies, and cultural attitudes that appear during the birthing process.

Oral history interview with Shecky Greene conducted by Barbara Tabach on June 5, 2018 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Greene talks about seeking work in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada in the 1950s. Greene also discusses how he developed his comedy career following from Jewish people to mainstream, doing accents and making up words. He also talks about his passion for the St. Judes Ranch in Boulder City, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Steve Keener conducted by David G. Schwartz on October 07, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Keener discusses his background in the slot positions at Tropicana Hotel, in Atlantic City and the Dover Down Hotel in Delaware. Keener also discusses the expansion of video over stepper, server-based gaming, and the increase in riverboat gaming. He also mentions the role of free play, skill-based, and 3D gaming being introduced into slot machines.
