Jackie Abell (b. 1924) discusses her experiences growing up in Virginia City, Reno, and Overton, Nevada. Oral history interview with Kaweeda Adams conducted by Kim Kershaw on March 05, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Adams reflects upon her career as a teacher in Louisiana from the 1980s to the 1990s, and as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1990s to the early 2000s. She discusses her upbringing, and how her upbringing influenced her pursuit of education. She describes the process by which she became a teacher and eventually administrator, and compares her experiences working in Louisiana and Nevada. She discusses how these experiences shaped her philosophy of education, as well as changes that she has observed in the students over time. She describes her regular job duties, as well as challenges that she faced as a school administrator such as teacher dismissal and evaluations.

Oral history interview with John F. Lewis conducted by Steven John Galler on March 12, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Lewis describes founding Clark Dairy with his brother in Moapa Valley, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Gary Porter conducted by Stefani Evans on April 26, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Porter discusses his early life in Oklahoma. He recalls moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1970 as a new accountant, and his employment at the Hughes Corporation. He talks about the growth of Las Vegas, the charter market in Las Vegas during the late 1970s, and joining Hughes Aviation in 1977. Lastly, Porter describes the evolution of the aviation industry, and explains the work Hughes Aviation does to service airplanes.

Oral history interview with Harry F. Spargo conducted by James M. Greene on October 14, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Spargo discusses his career as a miner. Spargo describes life as the son of a miner before following in his father's footsteps, becoming a miner himself, and working in the mines of the American West. Spargo goes on to describe arriving in Goldfield, Nevada in 1911, before moving on to other areas in Nevada mining precious metals for various companies.

Oral history interview with Robert B. Griffith conducted by Bernard Timberg on March 06, 1974 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Griffith talks about living in Las Vegas, Nevada since the early 1900s. He describes the recreational activities he would participate in, the Huntridge Theater, desegregation, and the development of hotels and casinos on the Strip.
