Oral history interview with Ward Lindquist conducted by Martin A. Judd on February 28, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lindquist discusses his work as a bartender, maritime pilot, and sheet metal worker in Southern Nevada. He also discusses his early life in South Dakota, family, and his various occupations prior to arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1946.

Oral history interview with Alfred Isola conducted by Stephen Kalish on March 15, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Isola discusses Las Vegas, Nevada’s lack of a unified garbage system and how dumping sites have had to adjust their practices in order to limit their impact on pollution. Isola also explains the different disposal protocols for wet and dry trash.

Oral history interview with Everett E. Daniels conducted by Gary Trbovich, Jr. on November 10, 2008 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Daniels reflects upon his experiences as a teacher and administrator with Ohio’s Canton City School District (CCSD). He discusses the influence of sports on his education and career, and how coaching influenced his approach to school administration and his working relationships with teachers, students, and other administrators. He also describes his typical responsibilities and challenges at different schools, and his experience with central office administration.

Oral history interview with Robert Ambrose conducted by David G. Schwartz on September 28, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Ambrose discusses the various positions he held at Tropicana Atlantic City and some of the mentors he has had throughout his career. He then provides his opinions on the technical changes of slot operations, the use of free play, and eSports.

Zane discusses coming to University of Nevada, Las Vegas, to take a one year position in the physics department. Zane also discusses his teaching career, overseeing the honors program through the transition to Honors College, and serving as dean of the college for 15 years.

Oral history interview with Joan Massagli conducted by Claytee D. White on August 19, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Massagli discusses being part of a singing act with her sisters called the Sawyer Sisters that often played Las Vegas, Nevada. She then discusses meeting her husband, Mark Tully Massagli, who was a musician, and making their home in Las Vegas.
