The YESCO newspaper clippings and publications series (1930-1992) consist of various newspaper articles and publications about YESCO or of professional interest to YESCO. Many newspaper clippings relate to YESCO’s neon sign work in Las Vegas, Nevada. Publications include issues from the 1930s of the National Sign Journal, the National Sign Association Bulletin, and National Sign Topics.

The YESCO corporate records and correspondence series (1920-2000) consists of meeting minutes and bylaws, general business records, financial reports, correspondence, advertising, company anniversary scrapbooks, and oral history interviews with YESCO employees, including members of the Young family. General business records include biographical writings about the Young family, ledgers and datebooks, a YESCO operational manual, blank contracts, sales policies and procedures, and business records of Henry “Hank” Schutte, who joined YESCO as a boy and worked for the company for most of his life.

The YESCO visual materials series (1914-1988) document a visual history of YESCO from its early beginnings, through its expansions, to its work in the 1980s. They include visuals of various YESCO plants, shops, buildings, equipment and personnel, as well as various signs created and installed by YESCO in multiple states. The series includes black-and-white and color photographs as well as Polaroids. It contains photographs, slides, negatives, and digital files of a variety of Las Vegas landmarks and hotels and casinos, including The Mint, Flamingo, Sahara, Caesar’s Palace, Fremont Street, Vegas Vic, Whiskey Pete’s, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Silver Bowl Stadium, and Excalibur. The series also contains photographs of signs YESCO created for various banks, theaters, cafes, gas stations, and other businesses, both large and small, around the western United States. Digital files appear to be copies of select materials throughout this series.

The 5th (Fifth) Street Liquor Store in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 5th Street Liquor Store was opened in 1948, and the shop's well known sign was designed by YESCO (Young Electric Sign Company).
