The Hoover Dam and Colorado River photographs depict the Hoover (Boulder) Dam and the Colorado River from 1925 to 1960. The photographs primarily depict the Hoover Dam following its completion in 1935, but also show the dam'’s construction and location in Black Canyon on the Colorado River. The photographs also depict Lake Mead, the reservoir created by the Hoover Dam, as well as Boulder Canyon.
