Oral history interview with Marc Ratner conducted by Barbara Tabach on August 23, 2016 and May 19, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Ratner talks about mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting, and joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) organization after a long career with the professional boxing commission.

Oral history interview with Norma Friedman conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 19, 2015 and April 06, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Friedman talks about owning Walker Furniture, her family history, and being a member of the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community for over 40 years.

The Barbara Tabach Papers (1978-2022) mainly contain project files kept by oral historian Barbara Tabach throughout her experiences managing different oral history community documentation projects for the Oral History Research Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) from 2010 to 2022. Oral history projects represented in this collection include Documenting the African American Experience in Las Vegas, Nevada, Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project, Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada, Remembering 1 October, and The Great Pause: Las Vegas Chronicles of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The majority of the collection represents Tabach's involvement as project manager for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Other materials include correspondence, newspaper clippings, event invitations, interview questions, memorabilia and books gifted to Tabach from oral history narrators, and publicity for the projects.

Oral history interview with Janellen Radoff conducted by Barbara Tabach on September 26, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Radoff discusses training in interior design and architecture, finding employment as a commercial designer, and working at Wynn properties. She also talks about her involvement in the interior design for Congregation Ner Tamid.

Oral history interview with Rabbi Malcolm Cohen conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 15, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Cohen talks about the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community and the growth of Temple Sinai, which is a merger of sorts between two smaller congregations: Adat Ariel and Temple Beth Am.

Oral history interview with Deanne Alterwitz-Stralser conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 01, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Alterwitz-Stralser discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and their four children to assume ownership of Walker Furniture, leading the design and merchandising elements of the business, and integrating into the local Jewish community.

Oral history interview with Mark Fine conducted by Barbara Tabach on November 18, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Fine discusses his career as a significant developer of planned communities within Green Valley and Summerlin in Henderson, Nevada. He also talks about the history of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1973.
