Oral history interview with Abbi Silver conducted by Barbara Tabach on January 10, 2017 and February 07, 2017 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Silver recalls being a law clerk for Honorable Earle White, Jr., joining the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, and being assigned as the Chief Deputy District Attorney for the Special Victims Unit where she tried more than one hundred jury trials. She mentions other attorneys who she encountered, from Stewart Bell to Oscar Goodman to her mentor, Judge Nancy Oesterle.

Oral history interview with Ron Lurie conducted by Barbara Tabach on June 05, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Lurie discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, attending Las Vegas High School, and working for his father in a grocery store. He also talks about his time in politics, campaigning for office, and changes he made while in office as mayor and in the city council. Lurie then talks about crime, Jewish business leaders, and law enforcement of Las Vegas.

Bristol recalls moving from California to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend UNLV, returning to California and then back to Las Vegas in the 1980s. She discusses people and places, the Culinary Union, her podcast, and her parents' involvement in B'nai Brith in Southern California, as well as her own activities in efforts to control the spread of HIV/AIDS through education and outreach.

In this interview, Brislin discusses her family background and upbringing in Redwood City, California. She remembers moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1991, her involvement in the Jewish community, and going on a trip to Israel. Brislin talks about joining the Anti-Defamation League, becoming the Regional Director of the organization in 2015, and her mentors at the time. Lastly, Brislin discusses the rise of hate acts towards minority groups across the country, and the issue of cyber-bullying.

Oral history interview with Carole Fisher conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 14, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Fisher discusses her family background and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1979. Fisher talks about Nathan Adelson Hospice, programs that they provide for the Las Vegas senior community, and the increase of hospices in Las Vegas. She describes how Nathan Adelson Hospice is able to provide care for uninsured people, fundraising events they organize, and how their hospice differs from traditional hospital care. Lastly, Fisher discusses the significance of death in the Jewish religion.
