Unger discusses his long career in hotel management in the 1970s-1980s, including general manager of Caesars Palace from 1978-1983 and working at Frontier Hotel and Aladdin Hotel. He also talks about being active in the Las Vegas, Nevada Jewish community with B'nai Brith and charities.

He also discusses his wife Noreen in 1957, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, his repair business, and his importing business with his wife. Sternberg also discusses his entrepreneurial nature and his ownership of three patents.

Oral history interview with Rabbi Mel Hecht conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 17, 2016 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Hecht discusses being a Rabbi in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1980. He also talks about his involvement in the Engelstad event at Imperial Palace Hotel, where the gaming board claimed that Ralph Engelstad glorified the image of Hitler and the Third Reich on the Las Vegas Strip.

Engel highlights people, casinos, and other observations of Las Vegas, Nevada history that occurred since his move to the city in 1953. He provides insights about the role of an accountant in the gaming industry. He also discusses the influence of Jewish business leaders in an array of local gaming and non-gaming issues, including the retail world, Jim Crow era segregation, and the astonishing growth of the valley over six decades.
