Oral history interview with Willis Evans conducted by Kathleen Morgan La Spina on December 02, 1986 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Evans discusses arriving and living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Evans also discusses being involved in the civic organization, District Attorney Youth Advisory Group. Oral history interviews with Madeline Taylor Knighten conducted by Blanche Uehling on September 17, 1974 for American Association of University Women Boulder City Branch and the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Knighten discusses her life in Boulder City, Nevada in the 1930s and the construction of Hoover Dam. She remembers the Six Companies, Inc. housing, stores, and Boulder City manager Sims Ely. Lastly, Knighten talks about early businesses and the first church in Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Leo Dunbar conducted by Jay Brewer on May 05, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dunbar discusses the growth of Boulder City, Nevada, the construction of Boulder (Hoover) Dam, and World War I.

The Ray Cutright Collection of Winthrop A. Davis Photographs (approximately 1929-1939) consists of black-and-white photographic prints with some corresponding negatives and slides of the construction of Hoover Dam and the geographic terrain of southern Nevada during the early 1930s. Included are photographs of the geographic area around the dam site, Black Canyon, and Boulder City, Nevada. Photographs depict the construction of facilities and roads needed for the project.

Oral history interview with Lawrence Nelson conducted by John Turner on February 22, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Nelson discusses the history of early Las Vegas, Nevada. He talks about the Old Mormon Fort, the importance of railroads in Las Vegas, and the construction of the Boulder (Hoover) Dam.

Oral history interview with Joseph Kine conducted by Debbie Nesbit on March 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Mr. Kine discusses working at Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam) as a high scaler. He also speaks about living in Boulder City in its very beginnings as a town.

Oral history interview with Ruth and Jake Dieleman conducted by James M. Greene on November 15, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project. The Dielemans discuss their life in Southern Nevada. Ruth first talks about growing up in Searchlight, Nevada, and her experiences as an educator. Jake discusses immigrating to the United States and working in construction rigging at the Hoover Dam. He also discusses his work in various Las Vegas, Nevada casinos and in the state legislature.
