The collection dates from 1942 to 1986 and contains a scrapbook and other materials related to the Nevada Biltmore built by Robert Brooks in Las Vegas, Nevada. The scrapbook includes photographs of the resort and newspaper clippings. It also contains some materials from the Seven Seas restaurant owned by Brooks in Hollywood, California. The collection includes newspaper clippings related to Las Vegas gaming and politics, some photographs of Bob Brooks and his wife Jewel at social events in Las Vegas, and a Biltmore menu and stationary.

The Nevada Secretary of State Records contain biennial reports for the years 1877-1892, 1897-1904, 1909-1910, 1919-1920,1940-1942, and 1947-1974. Material includes notary appointments and official records of the acts of the Nevada Legislature.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Photograph Collection (approximately 1900-2004) depicts the development of the university and the city of Las Vegas. The collection includes images of campus buildings, student activities, sports teams, past university presidents, and Las Vegas in the early twentieth century. Early images depicting the surrounding area are included in this collection as well.
