He wrote that most papers do not address the disagreeable stuff and that most of the papers disregarded the tenant housing that burned along with the hotel. He also noted that most of the papers did not even list the casualties. Second half of letter describes a shaft that he plans on descending. He also thoroughly described the building that he rents a room in.
