Tech. Sgt. Richard Zimmerman kneels in front of a cartoon version of the painting "The Spirit of '76" at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The picture features Fleagle, a cartoon character well-known to members of the Tactical Air Command, and two wounded fledglings. Zimmerman and 32 other members of the 57th Avionics Maintenance Squadron created it for the U.S. bicentennial celebrations at the base.
