Oral history interview with Dr. John S. Wright conducted by Katie Lockhart on February 26, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wright discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1956. He describes the origins of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas including its relationship with the University of Nevada, Reno regarding funding. Wright also describes the culture and development of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas such as its organizations and programs.

Oral history interview with Tom Wright conducted by Claytee White on February 14, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas History Project. Wright opens his interview by discussing his family history and his education. He then describes what the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) was like in the 1960s and his father's experiences working at the newly established university. Wright then recalls his own experiences at UNLV in the history department as a "Latin Americanist" professor and dean. He also discusses Latin American history and his dissertation about Chilean politics.

Oral history interview with Daniel Connell conducted by Shirley Emerson on November 18, 2013 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 8. In this interview Daniel Connell discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1954, marrying his wife Linda after returning from the military, and moving to the Westleigh neighborhood of Ward 1 in 1973. He also talks about his family life, the state of his neighborhood throughout the years, and being hired by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Oral history interview with Lois Tarkanian conducted by Claytee D. White on September 24, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 1. In this interview, Lois Tarkanian discusses meeting her husband Jerry Tarkanian, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, and her work as a speech pathologist. She also discusses teaching hearing-impaired children, being on the Clark County School District Board, and the people she represented in Ward 1 when she was on the Las Vegas City Council.

In this interview, Lorne Seidman discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1969 to teach business law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He also discusses becoming assistant general counsel and serving as attorney general of UNLV.

Shugart then recalls Boulder (Hoover) Dam, the Las Vegas climate, and her educational experiences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Shugart later discusses entertainment in Las Vegas and recreational activities around the city.

She briefly discusses her involvement with Hillel and the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas.
