Description

Note: Image is from a family photo album that was loaned to UNLV Libraries Special Collections and returned to the family on July 17, 1984.

Description
Black and white image of a group of men known as "Las Vegas Old Timers." Some of the men have been identified, although the handwriting accompanying the image is difficult to read: Phil Steinman, Jeff, Mr. Roberts, J.D. Richards, Jim Ullom, Al Clark, Leed Baldwin, Frank Faller, H. Harrum. Dale sits with his glasses on, turning knobs on the radio equipment. Inscription with photo reads: "The Dale Dorothy 'Ham' outfit. The only communication out of Pahrump at that time. Dale directed airplanes lost over Pahrump. His "rig" worked stations all over the world. He is [sic] shown a mother how to talk to her son in the South Pacific. This was likely taken in celebration with Maude Frazier after she was appointed Lt. Governor by Governor Grant Sawyer after Rex Bell's passing in office.
