Dale sits with his glasses on, turning knobs on the radio equipment. Inscription with photo reads: "The Dale Dorothy 'Ham' outfit. The only communication out of Pahrump at that time. Dale directed airplanes lost over Pahrump. His "rig" worked stations all over the world. He is [sic] shown a mother how to talk to her son in the South Pacific. This was likely taken in celebration with Maude Frazier after she was appointed Lt. Governor by Governor Grant Sawyer after Rex Bell's passing in office.
