Description

From the Harvey's Hotel and Casino Postcard Collection (PH-00367) -- Inscription with image says, "The Brass Rail has the oldest roulette wheel in Nevada with slot machines and other gaming for your pleasure. Beautifying their back bar is a lovely collection of gold and ruby glasses over 200 years old, and some artifacts of the early days in Virginia City."

Description

The Landmark Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada under construction. The Caroll Construction Company sign is visible. A strip mall is at the base of hotel with the Landmark Beauty Salon, Landmark Liquors, and Dial & Dine Landmarkett. Construction of the hotel took eight years, stalled by lack of funding.

Description

The grayscale view of a street scene in Boulder City, Nevada. Here, cars can be seen lining the street along Boulder Highway as their owners visit the numerous stores and restaurants found alongside the road. Shops on the left side of the road include Browder's, Powder Puff Beauty Shop, Thompson's Good Year Shoe-Shop, Nava-Hopi Indian Store, Green Hut Cafe, Nevada Drugs, and Good Year Tire. On the opposing side of the street lie Reservation Grill, Boulder City Drugs, Union Bus Terminal, and Miller's Cafe. At the end of the street, the Bureau of Reclamation Administration building can be seen located at 1200 Park Street.
