Hall, James, 1900-1940
James Hall was born in 1900 in Dallas, Texas as James E. Brown, the son of Clinton and Alice McKay Brown. As an actor, he is best known for Hell's Angels (1930); in all he appeared in thirty-two silent and sound films between 1923 and 1932. He died in 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Hand, Herman, 1875-1961
Austrian-born composer who immigrated to the United States in 1900. Hand worked as a musician and composer with several orchestras until 1928, when he moved to Hollywood to work as a composer and arranger in the film industry. Between 1928 and his death in 1951, Herman Hand contributed to over ninety film scores, including Howard Hughes' 1942 western, The Outlaw and the Oscar award-winning adventure Lost Horizons (1937).

DiTondo, Michelle, 1967-
Michelle DiTondo talks about her parent's experiences living in Osaka, Japan during the war. Father died after the war from tuberculosis. Her mother worked as a seamstress/tailor on the Air force base at the NCO club where she met Michelle's father. Michelle had moved from Tucson to Okinawa and then to Nellis in 1972. She would spend most of her childhood in North Las Vegas for more than 30 years. She speaks on her experience being in an air force family and moving from base to base as well as her fond memories of Las Vegas before casinos were built.

Taing, Kim You, 1967-
Kim You Taing, a Cambodian-Chinese refugee discusses his childhood during the Cambodian Wars, and how his family survived fleeing from village to village to escape the Rouge and gunfire occurring at that time. After a tragic incident where his two siblings died from drowning in the village river. his mother decided they need to get out of Cambodia to get a better life. His father who was Chinese would be captured and killed by the government just for being Chinese.

Loveman, G. (Gary)
Gary Loveman is a former Harvard professor and economist. He became Chief Operating Officer at Harrah's Entertainment in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998 and continued in a leadership role with the company, which became Caesars Entertainment. He was Chief Executive Officer at Caesar's Entertainment until 2015.
