The interviews in this original radio series were produced by the Folk Arts Program of the Nevada Arts Council (then Nevada State Council on the Arts) in 1986, in partnership with KUNR (Reno), KNPR (Las Vegas) and KOLO (Reno), and with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of Nevada. Scripting, editing, photography, and production were by folklorist Blanton Owen. Narration was by Deb Spring, KOLO Radio (Reno). The series consists of thirteen short segments documenting aspects of the traditional life and crafts of Nevada residents. A supplemental printed program provides additional information about each interviewee.

Berkley talks about her career as a Jewish woman legislator, about growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and about issues such as Medicare, education, and Israel. She also answers questions from the audience.

Oral history interview with Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael Cherry conducted by Michael Geeser on April 10, 2006 for the I Remember When: Recollections from Las Vegas Jewish Leaders Oral History Project. Cherry talks about his legal career, and about being Jewish in Las Vegas. He also discusses his board membership at Temple Beth Sholom and serving as president of Temple Ner Tamid, as well as his activities in B'nai B'rith District 4. The interview concludes with questions from the audience.

Oral history interview with Dr. Michael Green conducted by Michael Geeser on October 10, 2005 for the I Remember When: Recollections from Las Vegas Jewish Leaders Oral History Project. Green talks about the history of Jewish people in Las Vegas, their social clubs and religious temples, and their involvement in the running of casinos and in organized crime in Las Vegas. Dr. Green also answers questions from the audience.

Oral history interview with Carrie Neal conducted by Aireona Bradford on November 15, 2015 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Neal discusses her upbringing and migration from the South, her marriage and move to Las Vegas, Nevada, her work in the back-of-the-house at multiple casino-hotels, the Black church and the influence of the Culinary Union.

The Las Vegas, Nevada News Coverage Collection on September 11, 2001 (2001-2002) contains recordings of local television news and radio coverage of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, New York and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The news coverage was recorded and compiled by UNLV Journalism and Media Studies Professor Julian Kilker to use as research material for examining how mainstream news media covered the attacks.
