The Las Vegas Bugle Collection on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) History (1984-2002) consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, and ephemera chronicling issues of the LGBT communities in Nevada. In addition to records of the newspaper, the Las Vegas Bugle, the collection also contains documents pertaining to the founding of the Gay Community Service Center of Las Vegas, Nevada; Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG); local political campaigns; and photographs documenting LGBT life and culture in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Las Vegas Bugle Photograph Collection on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History (1993-2002) consists of photographic prints, negatives, and contact sheets chronicling events and activities of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities throughout southern Nevada. Many of the photographs originally accompanied newspaper articles published in the Las Vegas Bugle.

The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada Records (1992-2023) and include news articles, institutional records such as bylaws, agendas, and meeting minutes, ephemera, and programs for the Center’s annual Honorarium fundraiser. Additional materials include materials relating the the wellness clinic.

Oral history interview with Nancy Mallette conducted by Dennis McBride on December 02, 2006 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. Mallette opens her interview explaining that she was born in Montreal, Canada and that a job with Cirque du Soleil brought her to Las Vegas, Nevada. She recalls meeting other lesbians in a community group in Ottawa, Canada. Mallette then describes her membership in Lesbian Voice magazine and how she helped create a social branch for the organization. She describes the group she created, Betty's Outrageous Adventures Social and Active Fund for the Lesbian Community, and how she opened the group to family and friends of lesbians and transgender individuals. Mallette then discusses the degree to which Las Vegas is a suitable city for subcultures, and how lesbians and gay men differ from each other. Lastly, Mallette suggests if Las Vegas had a more prominent arts community that more LGBTQ people would be interested in moving to the area.

Oral history interviews with Jane Heenan conducted by Dennis McBride on June 21 and 28, and August 30, 2005 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In the interviews, Heenan begins by clarifying the vocabulary used within the transgender and queer communities for self-identification, comparing these terms with terms used in the medical and psychological fields. They then discusses the distinction between gender identity and sexual orientation. Next, Heenan recalls growing up and in Chicago, Illinois, coming out in the 1990s, and undergoing sex reassignment surgery. Lastly, they talk about arriving in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994, the Las Vegas transgender support and advocacy community, and Las Vegas transgender organizations.

Oral history interview with Rose Pry conducted by Dennis McBride on August 24, 2008 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Pry discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1980s and describes the lesbian community at the time. She talks about Women United of Nevada (WUN), a lesbian-identified organization founded in 1987, the events that they held around the community, and the women who were leaders in the organization. Lastly, Pry then discusses her employment writing for the Las Vegas Bugle under Rob Schlegel.

Oral history interview with Jan Jones conducted by Dennis McBride on March 26, 1998 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Jones discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981 and describes the car dealership commercials she was involved in with Kenny Kerr in the 1980s. Jones recalls the No Hate rallies that were organized in Nevada to support gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. She then talks about the backlash she received as Mayor of Las Vegas because of her support for the gay community.
