Oral history interview with Ernest O. Crawford conducted by Michael Crawford on October 26, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Ernest discusses Stewart Ranch, Kyle Ranch, Boulder (Hoover) Dam, Fremont Street, and the changes that Southern Nevada had during the construction of the dam.

The Frank D. Rathbun Photograph Collection dates from approximately 1915 to 1968 and consists primarily of black-and-white photographic prints and some corresponding negatives taken by Frank D. Rathbun and Michael Moen, who resurveyed the various sites Rathbun visited. The majority of the images depict petroglyphs located throughout the desert southwest in Nevada, California, and Arizona, as well as documentary images of the construction of the Los Angeles Aqueduct and the Hoover Dam transmission lines. Additional material includes postcards from areas Rathbun visited in California, Arizona, and Nevada.

Oral history interview with Joyce Shugart conducted by Geri E. Guillot on March 09, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Shugart discusses her arrival to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1945. Shugart then recalls Boulder (Hoover) Dam, the Las Vegas climate, and her educational experiences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Shugart later discusses entertainment in Las Vegas and recreational activities around the city.

Oral history interview with Richard L. Francis conducted by Connie Degernes on March 4, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Richard Francis discusses the construction of the Hoover Dam and his various occupations he has held since relocating to Nevada.

The Alan Bible Photograph Collection contains color photographic prints of the Hoover Dam; an aerial of the Colorado River; an Atomic Energy Commission drill rig in Central Nevada; and views of a Nuclear Rocket Development Station (NRDS) facility at the Nevada Test Site between approximately 1970 to 1974. These photographs are captioned and were originally framed and hung in Alan Bible's United States Senate office.

Oral history interview with Louise Lorenzi Fountain conducted by Claytee D. White on March 30, 2004 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Fountain discusses her father developing and managing Lorenzi Park and her husband working on the construction of Hoover Dam. She also discusses owning several businesses with her husband and being a charter member of the Valley of Fire Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Oral history interview with Kenneth Ousley conducted by Patricia van Betten on October 02, 2009 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Ousley discusses his personal history and moving to Blue Diamond, Nevada with his family. He talks about the work his father did as a miner at the Blue Diamond Mine and describes life in the village during the 1930s. Ousley recalls his visits to Las Vegas, Nevada and the construction of Boulder Dam (Hoover Dam). Lastly, Ousley talks about Cottonwood Ranch and the Blue Diamond school.
