The Tonopah Mining Company Records derive from the office of the company’s general manager in Tonopah, Nevada and consist of documents directly generated by its mining and milling operations from 1901 through 1941. The collection includes daily work reports, assay reports and certificates, employee time cards, invoices and receipts for mining equipment and supplies, monthly stores reports, and the company’s numerous insurance policies. Several of the company’s annual reports, including an original typescript copy of the 1907 annual report, are included in the collection. Additionally, select records from the company's subsidiary, Desert Power and Mill Company, as well as the Tonopah and Goldfield Railroad, which include overcharge claims, freight and repair bills, and delivery receipts are included in the collection.

The McCall Family Papers are comprised primarily of family photographs and correspondence from 1910-1970. The materials concentrate on Quannah McCall and his daughter, Connie McCall, both were well known dentists in Southern Nevada. The materials also contain letters, postcards, holiday cards, and birth, death, and marriage certificates, as well as school commencement announcements for family members.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Showboat, Inc. Promotional Materials and Financial Reports includes annual reports, quarterly financial reports, equity research reports, Securities and Exchange Commission Form 10-Q, Securities and Exchange Commission Form 10-K, prospectus, press kit, press releases, promotional materials, and newspaper and magazine clippings for Showboat, Inc. based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Atlantic City, New Jersey, dating from 1968 to 2002.

The Dale Scheideman Architectural Records (1955-1956) contain student work created by architect Elton Dale Scheideman during his time at the University of Kansas School of Architecture. These drawings, mounted on mat boards, were submitted for architectural classes and student design competitions.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Sahara Resorts Press Releases and Reports includes annual reports, financial reports, press releases, and promotional materials for the Sahara Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, dating from 1965 to 2002. This collection was previously cataloged under "Promotional and publicity materials: Sahara Resorts HD999.G25 S25."

The Edmund P. Warren Papers (1940-2005) consist of Warren’s personal collection of travel documentation, newspaper clippings, promotional materials from casinos and shows, and dining ephemera primarily from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Aztar Corporation Financial Reports and Press Materials includes annual reports, financial reports, equity research reports, prospectus, press releases, market analysis, a company plan, and newspaper clippings for Aztar Corporation which was based in Phoenix, Arizona, dating from 1991 to 2006.
