Children stand and play outside the Fifth Street Grammar School in Las Vegas. The school building is the center building in the photo. Built in 1910-1911 in the Mission architecture style, it housed Las Vegas' combined grammar and high schools until 1929, when Las Vegas High School was built. Some of the children are standing in a yard by what appears to be a volleyball or badminton net. Other children are seen walking towards the school building. All of the boys are wearing caps.
