Sign details: Opened since 1990. Used to be paired with the Lied Children's Discovery Museum but has been solely the library since the Children's Discovery museum moved to its new location in 2013. The Library property was sold to the city of Las Vegas October 2015.
Sign condition: 4-Lights up very brightly at night and the graphics are still relatively visible during the day, but the Lexan covering makes it a little cloudy looking during the day.

Sign-specific description: Rectangular sign about 4ft by 3.5 feet but raised off the ground by nearly 7-8 feet. Double sided slate of concrete with painted font stating "Las Vegas Library". The letter light up red (neon) at night and the border of the sign is blue (argon)

Sign details: This bar opened up in 1996. They aim to be a place for people to have a cold drink and great food. It is a very popular hangout stop for baseball fans since it is within walking distance to Cashman Field. They are also known for their karaoke nights.
Sign condition: 4, the sign is still in pretty good condition. It just looks worn from weather and time.
Sign form: Roadside pole with a message center
Sign-specific description: This pole sign sits along Las Vegas Boulevard and is extremely visible for motorist and pedestrians. A black rectangular pole supports the two portions that make up this sign. The top portion is a wide rectangular shape and both sides of the sign have the same design on them. Each side has a red background with the word "Stateside" in white script open cabinet letters along the top of it. Under this is a plastic backlit sign in the shape of the state of Nevada. The words "JUST ONE MORE" in bold red text are in the in the middle of the Nevada sign as well as an illustration of a foamy glass of beer. Under this is the word "Lounge" in white script open cabinet letters. Surrounding the outside of this sign is a line of incandescent light bulbs that chase. Under this sign is a fairly large backlit message board.

Sign details: Just a block away from the Strip, this French restaurant, which the name means "grapefruit" in French, has been a mainstay in Las Vegas for over forty years. Georges La Forge has created a wonderful atmosphere set as a "cozy French cottage with Tuxedo-clad waiters" and uses soft candlelight and French music to set the tone of the restaurant. A few of their most popular dishes include Escargots Bourguignonne, Fresh Foie Gras "au Torchon", Breast of Duck & Leg Confit, and Creme Brulee. It has received rave reviews and won many award since they opened in 1976. They have been voted as the "Most Romantic and Best French Restaurant" just to name a few.

Description

Sign owner: Dr. Michael J. Signorelli has owned it since 2001 after purchasing it from the original owners
Sign details: Opened 1958, and started expanding in the 1970's by buying out neighboring shops. They redesigned their interior in the 90's but still kept it true to the original design. The Rat Pack was known to frequent this steakhouse and even have a dedicated booth to them. Tony Spilotro, Elvis Presley and Nat "King" Cole were a few of the many famous customers. This is the Oldest Steakhouse in Las Vegas, and still maintains their original old Vegas dining style.
Sign condition: 4-The sign looks as though it has aged, but it has done so gracefully

Sign-specific description: The Pylon sign has the main logo stating "Golden Steer Steakhouse" on a yellow sign with a black border. The black border has yellow/gold incandescent light bulbs with a small gold Fleur-de-Lis on the top. Under the main logo there is a shelf/stage holding a golden sculptural steer. The sign above the entrance is a wrap around yellow sign similar to their pylon sign with their logo and an image of a steer in between the words Golden and Steer. They also advertise Prime Rib and Seafood on the wrap around sign.

Sign details: Charlotte Richards came to Las Vegas at the age of 17, for her husband had abandoned her with 3 kids. Took a job at The Little church of the West. She married the man that helped her and that gave her the job there. After her second husband died she moved on and bought A Little White Wedding Chapel in 1967. A little White Wedding Chapel had been opened since 1951.
Sign condition: 4 - Still in relatively good condition.

Sign-specific description: This pylon sign is mainly white with splashes of red schemes particularly with the red hearts that are outlined in neon. The Two red hearts are represented underneath the name of the property in channeled rusty gold letters. The hearts have a gold ribbon rendering surrounding them also outlined in skeletal neon. The square design at the top of the sign resembling a chapel roof. Underneath the main portion of the sign is a plastic backlit sign that also has a heart on it.

Sign-specific description: Along Las Vegas Blvd. this Porte Cochere is placed right by the driveway to get into the parking lot with two white steel block beams as the base. There is a rectangular plasma screen that acts as a changing advertising screen. Above this there is a light blue rectangle with white plastic letters "St. Louis Square" in a subtle calligraphy font. Above this rectangle looks as though it is the light blue roof of a building, and actually matches what the roofs of the buildings in this complex.

Description
The Bonanza Gift Shop sits at 2440 South Las Vegas Boulevard. The shopping center holds a space of forty-thousand square feet and is self-proclaimed, "The World's Largest Gift Shop." Information about the sign is available in the Southern Nevada Neon Survey Data Sheet.

Sign details: The Bonanza Gift Shop opened in 1981 marketing as the world's largest gift shop. Though in 1963 a portion of the property opened as an Honest John's Casino. In 1971 the Big Wheel opened next to Honest John's Casino. After 1974 Big Wheel changed to Centerfold Casino 1975-1977. In 1977 the Centerfold Casino changed to Jolly Trolley Restaurant, Saloon and Dining Depot. From 1977-1981 Jolly Trolley remained at the location; it seems at one point Jolly Trolley took over the entire shopping center and casinos. Between 1977 and 1981, a 24 Hour Adult Book Store was taken over by Jolly Trolley that allowed Bonanza Gift Shop to purchase the whole property. The sign's design and theme has stayed the same from 1963 to current. The gift shop was sold for $50 million in 2016 to Haim Gabay.
Sign condition: 3- the paint is peeling off, and the signs have holes in them. The incandescent light bulbs and marquee are not working to full capacity; some portions do not light up at all.
Sign form: This is considered an architectural sign with the reader boards-marquee built into the building. The sign at the end of the corner is considered a cantilever construction.

Sign-specific description: This sign has a white steel beam as its base. The shape of their sign is a red heart with a white arrow going through it. The red heart portion of the sign has a red steel sign box within this is a back lit red plastic sign with white font on it. Surrounding this sign is exterior skeletal neon that illuminates red at night time. The font on their sign states "Cupid's Wedding Chapel" with the word Cupid in a bubble cursive font and the "Wedding Chapel" portion in a white block font. Surrounding these letters are white hearts as well as an image of Cupid shooting a love arrow. The white arrow that shoots through the heart sign showcases flashing incandescent light bulbs.

Sign details: This pawn shop was opened by Richard Harrison in 1988. Rick , Richard and Corey Harrison along with Austin Russell made this store famous with the History Channel reality T.V. show Pawn Stars which started airing in 2009. This show has made this location a tourist destination, so much so there is even a line to get in sometimes. With the rise of popularity they added Rick Harrison's Pawn Plaza which is a shopping center with eateries.

Above this is a little white diamond. Below the white PAWN blade is a white rectangle stating "OPEN 24 HRS" in red block print letters. This blade-type sign is held right next to the building on a big white beam that has their address "713" painted on it.
