Baumeister joined the Humboldt Volunteer Ambulance Corps in 1966 and received EMT training in 1975. He served in the Ambulance Corps for sixteen years.

After receiving nursing and paramedic training in Chicago in 1973, Beilfuss moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1985 practiced emergency room services as Sunrise Hospital. She taught at Clark County Community College until 1996. She also served with the North Las Vegas Fire Department and the Southern Nevada Health Board, which included formulating EMS responses in Clark County.

Bell, a native of Amargosa Valley, Nevada, first took an EMS course at Battle Mountain in 1987. He completed paramedic training in Winnemucca and Carson City in 1995. He became commander of the Battle Mountain ambulance service in 2012.

Bowler received EMT training in Las Vegas, Nevada, and rode with ambulances in the Las Vegas area until the 1990s.

Britt is the Regional Trauma Coordinator for the Southern Nevada Health District. Chetelat is the EMS Manager for the SNHD. Shunney is the manager of the Office of Public Health Preparedness for the SNHD.

Brown moved to Reno, Nevada in 1981 and became a medic. In 1986 he moved to Lake Tahoe and worked for the Fire Protection District, where he worked until 1999. In 2006 he became the chief of the North Lake Tahoe Fire Department.

A native of Yerington, Carlini received EMS training at Utah State before working for the Yerington Fire Department. He became chief in 1990. In 2000 he became chief of the East Fork Fire and Paramedic Districts.
