Robert Mitchum was an actor known for playing in the genres of film noir and westerns. He was born August 6, 1917 as Robert Charles Durman in Bridgeport, Connecticut and died July 1, 1997 in Santa Barbara, California. Mitchum’s arrest for marijuana possession in August 1948 and almost ended his acting career, but Howard Robard Hughes Jr. intervened to defend Mitchum and enlist him for films including His Kind of Woman, where Mitchum co-starred with Jane Russell and Vincent Price.

Frank Mitrani was a professional photographer who worked for the Las Vegas Review-Journal and started his own photography business, Mitrani Photographs. Mitrani was also a founding member of the Las Vegas Media Group, a group dedicated to preserving the history of Las Vegas and Nevada, which disbanded in 2017.
