Jackie Brett (1946-) writes about entertainment and tourism in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as the Director of Entertainment and Marketing for the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas. She then worked in marketing for several resorts in Las Vegas. In 1987, she became the coordinator of the new Las Vegas office of the Nevada Commission on Tourism and worked there for several years. She continues to work as a freelance writer about Las Vegas and publishes "Brett's Vegas View" online.

Famous for being the mind behind the Las Vegas, Nevada Stardust resort and casino, Cornero was also known for his affiliation with organized crime. He ran businesses and gambling ships with questionable legality in Los Angeles, California.
