The Lori Chenin-Frankl papers consist of Chenin-Frankl's Jewish Community Preschool report card from 1964 to 1965; three photographs of her Bat Mitzvah in 1973; her certificate of confirmation from Temple Beth Sholom on June 10, 1977; a Temple Beth Sholom Confirmation Exercises event program from 1978; two undated news clippings about the Temple Beth Sholom Junior Choir; and her panelist name tag from a 2016 UNLV University Libraries Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project event.

Materials contain items donated to the Las Vegas, Nevada New York-New York Hotel and Casino "Heroes of 9-11" memorial between 2001 and 2012 (with the exception of the t-shirts). Items include embroidered fabric emblems and insignias, hats, photographs, letters, poems, and flags. Some of the items are damaged, faded, or frayed due to weather exposure.

Materials contain more than 5,000 t-shirts left at the "Heroes of 9-11" memorial at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from 2001 to 2012. Many of the shirts, which came mostly from fire departments and law enforcement agencies around the United States, are damaged or faded due to being exposed to the weather. Many of the shirts have signatures or written prayers from families, friends, and coworkers.
