Oral history interviews with Harry Mortenson conducted by Claytee D. White on April 08, 2014, April 22, 2014, and May 06, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the first interview, Mortenson discusses his personal background, working at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and arriving to Nevada to work as a nuclear physicist at the Nevada Test Site. Mortenson describes his work and recalls anecdotes from his employment. He then talks about his company, Sigma Scientific, and explains the different projects where he worked as a consultant. In the second interview, Mortenson discusses the methods of transportation used to arrive to the Nevada Test Site, his involvement with different organizations, and his tenure in the Nevada State Legislature. In the final interview, Mortenson discusses the device he built to take photographs of the nuclear reactor cores at Las Alamos National Laboratory, and explains how that device worked.

Oral history interview with John Hardie Moss Jr. conducted by Phyllis Sherwin on February 22, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Moss discusses his career as a world-class poker player and professional gambler in Las Vegas, Nevada. Moss describes the intricacies of poker and gambling, gambling for high-stakes, and cheating in the gambling world.

Oral history interview with Jackie Brantley conducted by Claytee White on October 27, 1996 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Brantley begins her interview by briefly discussing her family history and parents' jobs in Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1940s. Brantley then goes on to discuss segregation in Las Vegas. She discusses segregation on the Strip, and in pools, schools, and nightclubs. Afterwards, Brantley discusses her career experiences working for the Clark County School District and her management position at the Desert Inn Hotel and Casino in the early 1970s.

Oral history interview with Barbara Brents conducted by Claytee D. White on January 12, 2010 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. In this interview, Brents talks about why she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1987, her experience in the historic John S. Park Neighborhood, some history of Las Vegas, and politics.

Oral history interview with Patricia Deverell conducted by Patrick Kiser on April 26, 1986 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. Deverell discusses the various population and climate changes that she has witnessed in Nevada, as well as major events such as the above-ground atomic testing. Deverell also mentions her occupation in the gaming industry and describes some of the changes in the industry over time.

Oral history interview with Alfred J. Brimacombe conducted by Stephen S. Neal on July 02, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Brimacombe shares his personal history and recalls working as a train hostler. He later discusses his involvement in newspaper printing. Brimacombe lastly discusses politics, early-above ground atomic tests, and economic changes throughout Las Vegas, Nevada.
