The photographs primarily depict Brookman with other Nevada politicians, including U.S. Senators Harry Reid, Alan Bible, Eugene McCarty, and Howard Cannon, and Nevada Governors Paul Laxalt, Mike O’Callaghan, Richard Bryan, and Grant Sawyer. The photographs also depict Brookman at political events with the Nevada National Guard, bill-signing ceremonies, and at events in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The photographs also depict Gragson at groundbreaking ceremonies, Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas hotels and casinos, the mayor’s office, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and with performers such as Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis Jr., and Lawrence Welk.

Oral history interviews with Leona Hinton conducted by Irene Rostine on September 27, 1995, October 31, 1995, and November 18, 1995 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN). In her interviews Hinton discusses working for Rheem Manufacturing Company in Henderson, Nevada during World War II. She describes the challenges of being a working mother, the housing issues in Henderson, and attending Mormon church services. Hinton also discusses her husband's military and firefighter career. Finally, she describes wages, working conditions, and specifics about her work at the Rheem Manufacturing plant.

Rodriguez discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from South Dakota to get a divorce in 1959. Rodriguez describes working as a waitress at the Dunes and the Riviera and making a new life in Las Vegas. She discusses her work in the real estate industry and the challenges of being a working mother. Rodriguez also talks about opening her own real estate office, and the demographics of the real estate industry during the 1960s.
