From the Nye County, Nevada Photograph Collection (PH-00221) -- Series VI. Tonopah, Nevada -- Subseries VI.A. Bradshaw Family (Goldfield-Tonopah). Although the town of Goldfield had produced tens of millions of dollars in ore, by the Depression money was scarce in town. The wood was sold locally as a way of making money.
